Recently signed to a contract extension with the Boston Celtics, Glen "Big Baby" Davis is celebrating with a trip to the Lowell Spinners. Davis will be the Spinners guest of honor Sunday, Aug. 30 on Celtics Night presented by Electrical Wholesalers.

Davis, entering his third season as a professional, developed into one of the Celtics most consistent performers during the playoffs with Kevin Garnett out with an injury. He emerged into the spotlight with a game-winning shot in the final seconds of Game Four of the Celtics series against the Orlando Magic.

Davis will be appearing at LeLacheur Park courtesy of Electrical Wholesalers. Davis will participate in the in between innings promotions, with autographed basketballs being tossed to fans, following a ceremonial first pitch.

Boston Celtics legend Jo-Jo White will also be in attendance as the Spinners honor the 17-time World Champion Celtics.
